The Word to Action: Media Literacy for Change project develops a collection of practical, innovative and high-quality educational resources designed to strengthen media literacy, critical thinking and active citizenship among young people and youth workers across Europe.
Every result is developed collaboratively by the international partnership, tested through project activities and refined using participants’ feedback to ensure its educational value, practical relevance and long-term sustainability.
Rather than producing theoretical publications, Word to Action focuses on creating practical tools that can be immediately implemented by youth organisations, educators, trainers and other professionals working with young people.

Our Approach
At Word to Action, we believe that educational resources should not remain on a shelf.
Our objective is to create practical tools that help young people become informed, responsible and active digital citizens. Every resource is designed to encourage critical thinking, ethical communication, creativity and meaningful civic participation.
By combining media literacy, gamification, digital storytelling and non-formal education, we aim to transform knowledge into action.
Quality Assurance
All project results are developed in accordance with the principles of:
originality;
educational quality;
accessibility;
inclusiveness;
innovation;
ethical use of digital content;
intellectual property protection;
compliance with the Erasmus+ Programme requirements.
Before publication, each resource undergoes an internal quality review carried out by the project partnership to ensure consistency, accuracy and practical applicability.
Open Educational Resources
In line with the Erasmus+ Open Access principle, the project’s educational resources will be made publicly available as Open Educational Resources (OER).
This allows youth organisations, educators, trainers and other stakeholders to use, adapt and share the materials for educational purposes in accordance with the licensing conditions applied to each resource.
Availability
Project results will be published progressively as they are completed and approved by the partnership.
Each published resource will include:
a short description;
downloadable files;
publication date and version;
available language versions;
licensing information;
practical guidance for implementation.
Looking Beyond the Project
The ambition of Word to Action extends beyond the project’s duration.
By providing freely accessible, practice-oriented educational resources, the partnership seeks to support a growing European community of youth workers, educators and organisations committed to promoting media literacy, democratic participation and responsible digital engagement.
Together, we aim to help transform words into action, empowering young people to navigate today’s information landscape with confidence, integrity and purpose.
